TECHNOLOGY

1. Pipe-rolling shop

              According to the plan, expanding opportunities in the field of tube-rolling production by the specialists of "Azerboru" JSC have been prepared pursuant to technical conception, which was successfully implemented.

              Thus, in April 2008, we completed the modernization of pipe mill TPA-250, which allowed us to begin commercial production of seamless pipes with diameter from 114 to 219 mm. Production capacity of pipe rolling plant amounts to 180,000 tons of pipes per year.

2. Finishing shop

Finishing shop may process the following types of pipes:

• Casing pipes;

• Tubing pipes;

• Line pipes.

              At present, "Azerboru” JSC is capable to produce up to 5,000 tons of casing pipe every month and up to 2,000 tons of tubing in a month, as well s up to 10,000 tons of line pipes meeting the relevant standard GOST.

              Control panels of pipe end and coupling threading machine “EMAG” (Germany) for casing pipes and also control system of pipe hydrostatic testing “ YAMASUI” ( Japan) were changed to last generation of SIEMENS (Germany) .

              The modernization of Heat Treatment Line for the production of high steel grade Casing Pipes has been finished successfully.

SYSTEMS OF QUALITY

              The commitment to quality is the key to success. Demand for our products is increasing. With the increase in production volumes, our focus is on continuing quality enhancements. This matter can not be underestimated. It is our policy to improve existing QC systems at all stages of production, along with bringing our QC systems to the highest level specifications in the global industry within the shortest possible time.

              Our goal is to keep all the technical and human factors under control and thereby eliminate any whatsoever deviation in relation to product quality. We are always ready to collaborate with customers to achieve more stringent requirements on product quality than those it provides the applicable standards.

              Since 2009 the company has introduced the Quality Management System according to the Standards ISO 9001-2008, which was approved as a result of the audit by the American company Moody International (Certificate number 02110907001 dated 30th November 2009).

              Laboratory of our company was successfully accredited in accordance with the National Certification System (AZS).

              We also obtain certificates of conformity for casing, tubing and line pipes according to the certification system GOST –R State Standard of Russia. In 2009, “Azerboru" JSC granted permission to the Federal Service for Technical, Environmental and Nuclear Supervision of the Russian Federation for use of products of our factory by the companies of the RF for a period of 5 years.
